Walking India

2015 - Cultural immersion Expedition

Aim

In 2016, Oli and Angus walked coast-to-coast across South India: from the Bay of Bengal to the Arabian Sea. They followed the length of the Cauvery - the southernmost of India's seven sacred rivers. The pair contracted heat-stroke in drought-stuck dust bowls, got drenched in the mountains of the Western Ghats, and became lost among the crowds of industrial mega-cities. They lived on 75p a day, slept in fields frequented by tigers, and faced the monsoon with no tent (Oli's fault).
