Diana Madson

Diana Madson is a climate campaigns extraordinaire. She has spent the last decade crafting and implementing advocacy efforts to push policies that advance climate change mitigation and adaptation -- be it through fossil fuel transition, natural and working lands, or building resilience to climate impacts. She has worked for Western Conservation Foundation, running a philanthropic campaigns program to accelerate climate and clean energy policy in the West.

She was the founder and executive director of The Mountain Pact, led government affairs for the Sierra Climate Adaptation & Mitigation Partnership at Sierra Business Council, and advised the Crowther Lab at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zürich.  

Diana earned her Master of Environmental Management from the Yale School of Environment and graduated with Highest Distinction from the University of California, Berkeley with a B.S. in Environmental Science, Policy & Management and a B.A. in Rhetoric. She lives in Lake Tahoe with her toddler, partner and giant fluffy dog.
