Dr. Len Necefer, Ph.D. is the CEO & Founder of NativesOutdoors. Prior to filmmaking, Len has worked for the U.S. Department of Energy, NASA Glenn Research Center, and most recently the University of Arizona. His storytelling focuses on the intersection of indigenous people, the environment, and human powered movement through landscape. He recently co-directed the film “Welcome to Gwichyaa Zhee” about the Gwich’in fight to protect the Arctic Refuge featured in 45 festivals globally.
